Last weekend it was about time to fire up the Carson Rodizio Kit on top of the Primo Oval XL again for some Ribs, Chicken Drumsticks and Veggies !
I rubbed the ribs with Don Marco’s Cherry Bomb rub and glazed them with some bbq sauce, thai sweet chili sauce, whiskey , maple syrup and cherry jam towards the end.
For the chicken there was only one choice : Don Marco’ s PigWing Rub glazed with maple syrup. The zucchine, Onions, mushrooms and bell peppers were marinated with Don Marco’s WonderGreen, Oliv Oil, balsamic vinegar and a little honey. The Potatoes were seasoned with Olive Oil and Don Marco’s Potato seasoning.
During cooking i used some Maple Pellets and Herb Pellets to produce a nice smokey flavour.
As usualy with the Carson rodizio kit everything turned out extremely juicy, crispy and tender and the cook was extremely fun and relaxing.
